This series for the
U.S. Postal Service is very special to me and
Kathie. Thanks to the wonderful art direction of
Ethel Kessler, the research by Photo Assist, and the
help and support of Terry McCaffrey, USPS, and Dave
Failor, USPS.
Over
the course of twelve years, John produced a series of stamp sets for
the U.S. Postal Service illustrating the flora and fauna of a dozen
different U.S. geographical regions. The final set in this series is
a depiction of The Hawaiian Rainforest; John and Kathie's own
"backyard".
